YAMA WOMEN’S FREESTYLE CAMP

Prepare to push your limits with this freestyle camp, designed exclusively for the slaydies who wish to progress their skills in the terrain park, and enhance their performance on the mountain's natural features. Learn freeride concepts from our professional coaches as you explore various resorts and experience the best of Myoko.
This is a 4-day, 3-night camp designed for beginner to intermediate park riders who want to learn the basics or take their technical skills to the next level.We will help you to progress into the park or fine-tune your existing park skills, and help transfer those skills to natural features on the mountain in a supportive, fun environment. If you are eager to learn freestyle tricks, tips, and techniques, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
YAMA JAM PUBLIC COMPETITION : MARCH 9TH, 2024
As a bonus, we will be hosting our legendary Yama Jam competition held at our sister lodge Mountain Hut. Open to the public, we’ve reserve a spot for you to participate in the Jam, hoping you'll be confident and ready to join us at the event!
Day in the life…
Day 1:
Arrive at Sugi Chalet, your home for the next 4 nights.
Prepare for a 5:30 PM outing to a local spot where you'll meet your group and guides over a delicious welcome dinner and discuss and set personal goals for the program.
Optional evening group onsen from 7 PM.
Days 2 - 3:
Start your day with a prepared breakfast served from 7:30 - 8 AM.
Be ready for the morning shuttle departure at 8:30 AM.
Enjoy a 3-hour park session with lunch and break times to be decided in consultation with the group, individuals, and guide.
After lunch, enjoy free time to practice your new park skills.
Be ready for the afternoon shuttle departure at 4:00 PM.
Enjoy optional après-ski and onsen sessions from 4:30 PM onwards.
Dinner will be served from 6:30 PM.
Regroup for daily debriefing and video analysis.
Day 4:
Say goodbye OR stay an extra night or more and get amongst YAMA JAM held at sister lodge Mountain Hut on the 9th March!

OVERVIEW
Our seasoned coaches will start with the park basics and build on them based on your individual goals. As we move on, we’ll apply these foundations to natural terrain features to enhance your style, flow and line choice, ensuring an ultimate freeride experience. Yama Camp will take place across three different resorts to help foster your freestyle skills and confidence with a variety of park features, while also guiding you to areas on the mountains known only to locals.
Accommodation
Stay in luxury at Sugi Chalet, a rare ski-in/ski-out lodge in the heart of Myoko Kogen's Suginohara ski resort. The chalet features six spacious bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, and inviting lounge areas for relaxation. Dine at the bespoke cedar table and stay connected with high-speed WiFi. Enjoy three lavish bathrooms, four private toilets, plush towels and premium bedding, for exceptional comfort, providing the ultimate mountain experience.
